Lachlan was the best wee boy in the world....He was my wee boy and he was his dad, Jeff's, wee boy.
He was born early at twenty nine weeks, and fought every day to be here. He was in hospital for the
first five and a half months of his life and spent many other times in hospital and in the Childrens
Hospice, Robin House. Lachlan has such a long story which we may add to this page at some point,
but if we start we would not be able to stop.....Lachlan amazed us time and time again and 'for one
so small he seemed so strong'.
Eventually it all got too much for Lachlan and he fell asleep forever.
We miss Lachlan all of the time but do always feel as if he is with us.
Life is empty without Lachlan and one of the things that keeps us going is raising money for the
charities that helped us so much during Lachlans short life, which is Sense Scotland and Childrens
Hospice Association for Scotland (CHAS).
Thanks to all of you who knew wee Lachlan for visiting this site. I'm sure he would know that you
would have been thinking of him. This also helps to keep his memory alive. Lachlan touched the
heart of everyone who met him as he was a wee character, who tried so hard at every challenge that
was thrown at him. He surprised a whole host of people though out his 23 months with us with his
bravery and with his extra spikey hair !

Been thinking of you loads as always, hope you had a nice birthday. The years might be passing by, but you're wee chubby cheeks and squidgy hands will stay the same forever!
Was good visiting you're mummy and daddy the other week- you're dad is such a super star helping Jonny and me with the wedding...and you're mum sure knows how to bake! Jonny loved meeting them again and visiting you. He says that you must have been a really special boy- and he's dead right! Think he's realising that he's not the only special boy in my life too! I'll try and come out and visit you again soon- I haven't been able get over after work coz it's too dark! So I'll maybe pop by one weekend soon and leave a wee belated birthday prezzie!

We went to visit your garden today. There are lots of lovely flowers. We hope you had good fun with all your friends. We are missing you so much and wish we could hold you in our arms again. We had dinner at your mum and dad's and your nana and papa were there too and of course Jack was sooking in as usual! Love you lots, wee man.

I hope you had a nice birthday with all your angel friends. We miss you more than ever, but always remember as well how brave a boy you were. Remember your first birthday ??....you proved everyone wrong.....you slept through most of your visitors and then you had a wee peek before everyone left. That was the first time that you were able to open your eyes in eleven whole days. You were so poorly before that we didn't think you would make your first birthday....but you did and managed to put up the biggest fight for another eleven months....mummy and daddy's little hero, love you wee guy, mum and dad xx

We met up with your buddy boo today, Louise and her Mr Man, Jonny, i reckon you would approve! They are having such a special day and dad is helping a wee bit with all his computer stuff. Your wee Jackdog was being a wee nosy besom today marching all over important stuff, as always !!
