Lachlan was the best wee boy in the world....He was my wee boy and he was his dad, Jeff's, wee boy. He was born early at twenty nine weeks, and fought every day to be here. He was in hospital for the first five and a half months of his life and spent many other times in hospital and in the Childrens Hospice, Robin House. Lachlan has such a long story which we may add to this page at some point, but if we start we would not be able to stop.....Lachlan amazed us time and time again and 'for one so small he seemed so strong'.
Eventually it all got too much for Lachlan and he fell asleep forever.
We miss Lachlan all of the time but do always feel as if he is with us.
Life is empty without Lachlan and one of the things that keeps us going is raising money for the charities that helped us so much during Lachlans short life, which is Sense Scotland and Childrens Hospice Association for Scotland (CHAS).
Thanks to all of you who knew wee Lachlan for visiting this site. I'm sure he would know that you would have been thinking of him. This also helps to keep his memory alive. Lachlan touched the heart of everyone who met him as he was a wee character, who tried so hard at every challenge that was thrown at him. He surprised a whole host of people though out his 23 months with us with his bravery and with his extra spikey hair !

Oh Lachlan you must be having a wee giggle to yourself - your mum and dad got in a bit of a pickle tonight! We nearly set the street alight with your Santa Sky Lantern. It was so windy, too windy for santa to blow all the way up to you so he hovered around the garden, the street, the bushes and almost left and then came back down to nearly set the trees alight !! I'm sure Santa will get to you anyway, have a fun Christmas Lachlan, will all be thinking of you tomorrow and the best Christmas we spent together, love you up to the moon and back, Love mum x
